Re: Not dead!

Heya Gryphon, I just sent you a message on Tamriel Foundry, figured I'd pop over here, and lo and behold, my old account is still valid. I've got my own guild for casual working adults, but would be more than happy to play with any SSXers over on the Ebonheart side. Shoot me a friend invite to @Con...

Not dead!

We're not dead!

We're just experiencing some extreme lag issues. Met a few good folks on the megaserver, so hopefully the numbers will grow soon!

Y'know, the same thing happened to me just last week. Popped my head in after a few years absent and ended up setting up a group. :P

Just grabbing the client.

While watching the Phoenix rising video. Looks a lot of fun.

EDIT - Wow. Such lag! All my searches are bringing up thread from years back. :/ Looking for a more current fix.

Also is there anything you want putting for the forum description?. Or just leave blank for now? :)
eg: "For the glory of the Sith Empire! Death to the Republic!" for the TOR forum.

Links. All the Links...

Just a few handy links for those inclined. As more become available, we'll have a tidy up and an edit. ESOHEAD Well, it's WoWhead... but for ESO... It's a source of useful(ish) knowledge. A lot of it is redundant at this time as early access has just begun and data has yet to be mined, but for those...

Okies - I'm not sure it's spotlight material - I'm still putting things together! It's all a bit threadbare. :P

Lovely, Lovely.

I'll start adding useful bits tonight/weekend. The servers are split US/EU, so I don't know if Oz wants to moderate too? Although life seems pretty hectic there at the mo. I'll shoot him a message - I'd hate to leave him out!

Re: I don't suppose We could add an ESO Forum?

Sure thing. Just finished a late shift, so fairly soggy and back in early tomorrow - I shall cobble up the required bits and pieces after I've had a cup of tea, before bed.

I feel old.

Re: I don't suppose We could add an ESO Forum?

hehe Normally we'd wait until there had been enough chatter about it in general and/or a good handful of people intending to play at release before we put a forum up but I see no harm in adding one now for ya, especially if you're considering setting up a guild in there. Sounds good to me dude. Unl...

Gryphs ESO thread.

Trying to keep all my ESO bobbins in on place for now. I plan on just collecting anything useful or fun here, maybe entice a few people to join me if they have spare time. I'll edit this into something nicer as it develops. For now - a hooky fishy video about the freedom you have with your character...

I don't suppose We could add an ESO Forum?

I don't think we have a crowd for it at the moment, But I'd like to look into setting up a guild at some point, and it'd be nice to have a repository for links/tools/UI and the like for the folks that are. If not, I'll see if I can cultivate a go-to thread in general. Look at me! Back for less than ...

Re: ESO, who's going to be down with it?

A few of my old buddies from school ( talk about memory lane) got wind I'd be playing. They run a gaming group, which I've joined. I think they're more hardcore than I am, but I'll be running with them - it'd be a good chance to reconnect. :) I think in time, I'd quite like to organise a new part of...

Re: 'ow do!

Got the client last night. Had a dabble. Not much has changed, but the community is full and judging by the smell of barbecue, passionate. Server pop still low and sadly didn't have a good experience. Still, poked into the community, said hello and gave honest feedback on my experience. Fond memories.

Re: ESO, who's going to be down with it?

It's definitely not Morrowind, Oblivion or skyrim Probably the main problem for me, coz if I was going to play TES multiplayer, I'd want it to be multiplayer MW, O or Skyrim :clown: That's what I'm hoping for the next real TES release. The tech and connections are now there for coop. ESO definitely...

Re: ESO, who's going to be down with it?

Read a preview thingy on Ars, really put me off - it seems the freedom, that one delicious helping of Win Pie that made TES, has vanished in a WoW-esque zoning setup with fixed-level mobs. Probably just as well, I shouldn't go getting addicted to a new version of TES... It's zoned. The zones are fa...

Re: ESO, who's going to be down with it?

Cushty. I went in with no real expectations and was actually happy with it. I haven;t really enjoyed many MMO's. I mostly just tried them out, this however, I'm actually looking forward to. Done a few of the beta weekends, and I'm just waiting for the live release API to go public so I can tweak som...

Re: ESO, who's going to be down with it?

I preordered ESO. Tried the beta, liked it. Wondering who's going to be playing? Haven't been involved in a big group since our WoW stuff, hoping that we'll have a similar kicking group with Elder. If we're getting a group going, I'll stick with my PC edition, if not, I'll shift to PS4. I'm hoping ...

The Gryphs on tour!

Hey guys! Eventually tying the knot next year (26th sept) and for our honeymoon, we're planning on touring the states. Just thought I'd post up here and see who was interested in showing us the sights? We're coming into New York, moving down to Georgia (The miss wants to visit Micheal stipe country)...

Fabulous. I stopped off in Dustwallow marsh to do the stone maul quest line, as I heard it was pretty cool. Wasn't disappointed.
