The team behind me took to get it.
The fight lasts for 20min minimum.
This was the last key piece of equipment (my head) to get. Finally.

hope you do not mind if i say that the hat does not look as if it came straight from a fashion designer in contrast to the rest of your armor

Oh the hat is butt ugly, but it does two things:
1) It is the only melee hat anyone uses past the level of 70 Everything else you macro in for special occasions. Meaning, when you have it, you are identified as "The Endgame Person". There is no hat like it out there, because of the bonuses it gives accross the board. Every melee has to have it (the only hat option for all melee jobs). And it is very tough to get it too. Have to farm five eyes and then need a level 93 alchemist to put it together - the ending result costing 1.7 million. The result can fail, therein you losing some/all eyes, and you can also lose the fight, therein losing your eye completely. High risk, but payoff's worth it for the stats.
2) Conceals the eyes and frames the head proper. If you ignore the upside down ice cream cone, rest of it is rather badass.
Though I do look partially like a mage.

I want an O-hat some day, myself. It's very stylish.
I have no desire to be seen as "The Endgame" anything, I just like the hat

"Perhaps this is what I have always wished for since that day. The loss and destruction of all. That's right, one must destroy before creating. In that case, if my conscience becomes a hindrance to me, then I will simply erase it. I have no other choice but to move forward....therefore!" - Lelouch vi Britannia/Zero, Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch
