I solo'd Eumenides!

Level 24, running down the subway when someone trained him right into me! BUGGER!

Well, I ran. But being the nice fellow that I am, I didn't want to train him into everyone else. So I ran in circles, roundand round. Stop, fire, heal and run. Stop, fire, heal and run.

Someone else took a shot at him, so I had to make the stand there and then....

...and I did it. What did I get for my troubles? 1 sodding helmet. Every time I get to loot Eumenides he gives me crap.

But hey! I did it!

He's not the end boss, he's just a crappy mob that claims it's level 20 but is very hard to kill. He spawns outside the entrance to the tunnel where the infectors spawn, between the station area and the stairs down.

The end boss is much further along and I've only seen him a couple of times - haven't bothered to try fighting him yet. He's surrounded by Infectors and the time I got down there solo I had him plus several infectors train me, and I was at a level where I could just about beat the mobs down there solo, but wouldn't have been able to take 2 or more at a time, so I ran (no one else in the area).

Ah okay, understood.

I spent a lot of time with the real boss down there (him spawning infectors as well), he's a toughie so it was kind of surprising to me esd would be able to solo him.

Yeah he always seems to have very poor loot considering the high lvl he is compared to the rest of the stuff around him. Even with evades maxed he hit me almost 100% only just managed to solo him.

I dunno - Eumenides drops the Ring of the Nucleus Basalis, which provides a decent NCU boost and levels until most of the temple levels.

The rest of his loot though is pretty crap

The drop rate's 20% max, which is probably why. Take him on a few more times and it'll drop.

I got it on the second time when I ganged up on him with an Atrox

Remeber the first time i saw him the team i was in was awful. The docs would only heal themselves the tanks stood and watched and it was just me (lvl 12 MA at the time) one of the easier battles for him im sure.
