"I pity you who understands nothing. There is nothing that isn't important"

Heh.

Aside from the fantastic message the movie provides, I also liked all of the nuances they tied with the game, such as the use of Materia and Overdrives.

The CG was awesome though, this is the first time I saw speed emulated with such detail you were able to follow it even though it was really fast.

All in all, a really great sequel to the game, and a fantastic ending to Cloud's story.

It is released in Japan on the 14th, and the US release has been delayed until Novemberish. - The Japanese release will not have english subtitles.

I couldn't have hoped for it to be any better than it was, i thought it was amazing.

Loved every bit of it, the story, the music, the animation, characters, and i even liked the ending as well cos it leaves me wanting moooore!.
I thought some of the parts with Reno & Rude in were really funny lol.
The music remixes were really good, i especially liked the main theme (as on the AC website, the one-winged-angel remix (great rock theme to it) and the song played at the very last credits at the end of the movie.

I loved Aerith/Aeris, the few parts we saw her in she was really came accross really quite.. beautiful, and Tifa was as lovely as always. <3 Tifa. :p

The fight scenes were awesome, especially the one with Tifa & Loz, and Cloud & Kadaj/Sephy. I read a while ago that non of the fight scenes were motion capture either, really cool stuff.

All those months ago when i thought i knew who the WCM was.. i was right!

Was glad they made Tifa's movements "fighter-ish". I was afraid they'd make her actions seem too "girl-like" but when she and Loz fought her actions were all kick-@$$

All in all, a great movie. Even if you didn't play the game and didn't "get" some of the finer points, you could still appreciate the great CGI :thumb:

Oh, and of course those never ending fightings ala DBZ

I was also thinking, why "Bahamut SIN" (that being the name of the Bahamut Cloud defeats). I gather it'd have something to do with the notion Vincent and Cloud brought up, about werther or not sin can be forgiven. I'd assume that when he gave himself the will to defeat Bahamut, he also found a way for his sin to be forgiven, ie, defeating evil, or at least trying to. The support he recieved from others pushing him upwards, would be a sign that he has been forgiven by them or... something to that effect. Or maybe a practical sign that they're also supporting him to be forgiven.

Heh, and after everything, Aeris is the one who gives him the final push. Or rather, pull. Upwards.

Meh, just thoughts anyway.

Heh, and Last Order was fantastic. Extended.

Simply beyond words. They really managed to revive an old horse.

wow, Last Order was indeed fantastic.

I didn't really know what to expect from it with it being anime style (i've never really watched any anime, ive always planned to check some out but never actually have, yet) but as said, it was fantastic.
Would have been even more enjoyable with subs, which will prolly come v soon i bet, but really neat even without em. :)
