Awesome job last night guys... suns went down way faster than expected causing a little bit of a problem (me not back tanking yet when rag came up lol) ... but we kept it together and got that bastage down.
For those wondering the next step, it's getting time to start getting our feet wet in BWL.... and to start working MC timing to be a 1-night clear.
I believe Aoiren and Moonknight are going to be getting together with our FR crafters to start getting some more gear made.
For those wanting to move further into the big raids before BC comes out, focus should be on getting primary toons geared in both standard and FR gear... and keep your BWL timers open so we can start getting people to know the Razorgore battle. Also make sure you're on time as much as possible at the beginning of the raid so we can get going earlier in attempt to make MC a 1-night clear, we will also need a full 40 from the beginning of BWL as there is no trash to start.
These are not requirements, but they are what is needed if we as a group wish to push forward and support one another in advancing.

<edit> I know my original post is copied below, but, *sigh*.
I apologize for the sarcasm earlier. I should have said "Is that not what I was saying earlier?".

Clearing MC in one night makes it more stomach-able later on, and realistically if you guys are only gonna raid two nights a week if you wanna do anything other than Mc you're going to have to look at rotating the instances (which would mean no loot one week, and no progression the next ;p) or doing one in one night, and spending the other in the other.
Focusing on a single character is a natural way to ensure that character meets the requirements for BWL
Vael = 250 FR for DPS with good DPS stats!
Congrats on Ragnaros, he's a big cookie and he's quite different to everything else you've mastered so far, definately a doorway into BWL, much as Nef is a doorway into AQ and Naxx.
No need to rush, work on your MC speed, before diving into BWL

Mel, did you really just say what I think you said?
For those of us wanting to progress further we need to get our "primary toon" (another term for main?) geared up as well as possible as quickly as possible?
Are we now looking to make the push to get MC cleared as quickly as possible rather than just enjoying the company of our guildies while casually raiding?
Please correct me if I'm misunderstanding this.
I prefer the term iconoclast to "trouble maker".

MC is very doable in one night.
Also this is a big accomplishment for us, so let's just keep this on the positive side.

Thanks for keeping it positive guys. I apologize if I was unclear, I in no way meant to suggest forcing anything that was stated above. These are things that will assist in getting us to new places faster, I don't think anybody has ever denied that fact to my knowledge. My words were meant as a place for those wishing to speed up the proocess to concentrate. This would be completely voluntary on the part of each individual. It may not get us there as quickly as going full force hard core, but each person that wants it can make an impact on their own.
At the same time understand that while some of us choose to do things in this manner, there are those that are just coming along for the ride if/when they can. Each person has their own limits for different reasons to what they can and cant put forth on progression efforts. We all need to accept this and do what our own pace allows us to.
Gear helps progression, but it has become too much the focal point of our group recently. At this point though it has some impact in making things easier, the only gear that may prevent us from clearing BWL at this point is Fire Res gear, and that has no effect on the first boss. With our current gear level, from everything I've read, we could even start attempting AQ40's first boss if we had the people to do so. So what is stopping us you ask? Two very simple things... attendance (with balance), and focus. Bring those two things in and start focusing on accomplishments we're making as a group rather than who gets what and we'll keep going at record speed and doing awesome like we have been.
The group of friends I celebrated Rag's downfall with on Saturday are the ones I want to continue playing with. They didn't care what he dropped at that moment his health hit 0%... they jumped, cheered, and took screen shots before even looking at loot. This was an awesome night, and I'm very sorry if some took my words of encouragement as anything else.
Awesome job guys, please keep that spirit alive.

Skeram requires 6 tanks with YOUR Gear to do reliably Mel
(And healers/mages/DPS to know exactly what they're doing)

I like to add one more thing that's at least keeping me from acutally doing anything in bwl. My poor computer that runs at less than 1fps at times in bwl. Untill my new computer comes in I'm usless in instances with a lot of graphics or a lot of green as most people know by now how my pc reacts in ZG. The room with all the whelps for example, I physically could not move my character so forget about acutally dps. I had to be resed inbetween one of the packs of whelps because I couldn't move myself out of the way of the previous pack fast enough before the respawn. So pretty much until my new computer comes in I won't be able to do any good in bwl regardless of knowing what to do or not to do.
