Well in light of recent events that transpired at the event last night - plus the stuff I have read on the forums - I'm well and truly P/od. Not with KK, but the community as a whole - I really can't imagine sharing a server with a bunch of A grade idiots.

Well, I'm oblivious to the "people" in the NC community (ignorance is bliss eh), and since money isn't an issue for me atm, I'll stick for a month to NC2 and see how it goes. If money isn't an issue, you might as well try a month

heh you know, i actually feel sorry for KK after what happened with the saturn server. So many people flaming them and it wasn't like they did on on purpose or anything, they've said openly just how sorry they are that it happened.
I ain't one to suck upto KK, or flame them either but its pretty crappy reading day in, day out all the flaming on the forums directed at them. If they really hate KK and Neocron they should just leave if they are that angry. Sure they have a right to complain, but i'm on about the people that get personal over it.
I happen to think KK have done a great job so far with NC2, sure they've messed up a few times but for the small team that they are i think they've done well.
I apologise if i offend anyone with some of those comments, but i believe in the saying that if you think you can do any better, go do it yourself.

Finally found that thread (dunno how I missed it, it being stickied and over 10+ pages

The message post was probably the most "genuine" post from a dev I'm ever seen. Usually you'll get the "Hardware failure. We're sorry. Please vote" response. So yea, I agree with MS in that sh!t happened and the community did indeed get immature about it.

It always seems to be the case though doesn't it. I may be stereotyping here - But saturn players are the main reason I won't be going to the dome any time soon.
They whine more than any other server - ( they all seem to hate fallen angels! *Stabbety stab!*) and well, they're downright dirty players - when I first started NC I started on saturn - I quit after two months.

Hah, I'm sure everyone would have looked the other way if it was just the Saturn incident, but they've been screwing stuff over, since the whole thing started basically.
It's not like the thing with Saturn is their "first" mistake. It's their thousand-th mistake, and people are just having a full glass spilling over.
I don't even care about Saturn, but the level of incompetence, to screw up this badly just when the server change is going to happen, is simply inexcusable. They obviously don't have what it takes to make it in an MMO world.

I've always felt that KK needs some fresh competition. At the moment, their the only developers to make a FPS + MMORPG (Planetside doesn't count ). Monopoly, anyone?

Because my course is special - on account of I have 4 years of photoshop under my belt - same with max. - So stiicking me on a regular course would be a waste of everyones time and money.
