dunno. I will find out later. I am sending it in for repairs. Turned it o for less than 5 minutes and he box says its over heating. Keep in mind i haven't played the box in at least a week. It was sounding real loud all of the sudden and now poof. its done for.

On the plus side, my box came in today. I can get that thing fixed and be done with my woes. I had to miss out on getting SF IV thanks to having to drop $100 on repairs. They are gonna get a nice letter about that from me.

I hope that it's indeed a hardware failure so i can get back that money..

God I hate Microsoft. I am damn near to the point where i want to sell my xbox and all my games because off their crap.

Even though I am experiencing something resembling the 3 ring error, because I only have two rings, I have to pay for it, even though I am deadly sure its not a heating issue. My xbox constantly fails after a few minutes. And yet, no matter how much I describe to them, its a two ring issue and no matter what I say I am gonna have to pay for this crap.

Our Xbox it came with Kung-Fu Panda, the disc wouldn't play. Called M$ and they told me it would be $20 to replace. Told them it was bad out of the package. They told me they sold a few thousand boxes with this offer and this complaint hadn't come up, but if I sent the disc in with $20 they would replace it.
So, I took it back to the shop and exchanged it. The guy at the shop said in all his dealings with any company he has never dealt with such a fascist nazi corporation (he used those words) as Microsoft.

Had a free month of Gold. Got confused in signing in and got charged. Called to explain mistake. Guy said they would refund me my initial cost and activate the free month. Sent me to accounts. I explained the situation again. New guy said they don't refund for mistakes. Told him I was transferred and was told I would get a credit...
Him: Sir, you're lying.
Me: Excuse me, did you just call me a liar?
Him: Yes sir (hangs up)
Numerous letters have gotten me no avail.

COUNTER WITH THIS...
Got a new Mac last year. It had a dead pixel. Called support. They sent me a new Mac (I sent the other back of course). Along with it came an extra gig of ram, a coupon for a free Office suite or $100 from the Apple store, a letter of apology, and the personal business card of the support agent I talked to. On the card was a hand written note to call again at any time if I have any problems.

Hard to understand why Mac is gaining ground as M$ get buried.

WOW! Screw letters and emails I would have been back on that phone talking to someone right away. Not only were you not a liar but then the customer service decided to hang up on you after you were transferred to receive the credit.

Trust me you just need to be extra pushy with them and just because they say "no" or "sorry sir my records......." doesn't mean nothing; I know too well how these big corp's try to screw the little guys.

I think the warranty is only about $50-$60 for 2-3 years (can't remember its been awhile). So I definitely recommend purchasing the warranty directly from Microsoft.

The best edition of Resi5 we have over here is the Limited Edition Steelbook with the making of DVD, no Tricell bag, Figure etc unfortunately :/. Still, the steelbook design is pretty neat i must admit, my copy arrived yesterday
