So what do you think of the character types?

The Free People of Middle Earth need you in the fight against the Dark Lord Sauron and his minions. Will you answer the call and join the forces of good in the War of the Ring?

Its been a couple of weeks now since release
and I did my usual trick of having multiple characters
on the go, to get the feel of each before committing
too much of my time.
Also stems from the fact my server (Evensong) is
awash with Champions.

The four I have on the go are all Men of Gondor,
a Guardian, Champion, Hunter and Captain.

The Champion was my Early Access toon,
typical DPS orientated dual wielder, my initial preference.

The Guardian is the typical tank, not sure I'm at a high enough level yet
with him to really appreciate his strengths.

The Hunter, again a typical ranged attack stereotype,
although I have immense fun playing him.

And the Captain with his buffs which are more Fellowship play orientated.

From what I have experienced so far each class has something
unique about them, which makes them each interesting in their own way.

The developers have done a good job (IMHO) of encouraging Fellowship play,
without forcing it, you can still happily solo if you feel that way inclined.

My only gripe, and it is a fairly large one, is that in the game
based on an IP containing the most famous Ranger ever known
does not have a 'Ranger' class.
