Setting an SSX agenda

Seeing as how I've entered into the IAA government, I would like to hear your thoughts and concerns about what is going on over there. What would you like to see the alliance accomplish? Is there anything that needs to be done differently? If anyone has anything they want to say, I would be happy to discuss it with the other government members. Let's hear it!

I have only skimmed the surface at IAA. It is nice to be involved in such an active group. I haven't tried to drum up any tech deals yet, but Vince said he had 5 deals set up within 2 days of joining. Bearing on that, I think the thing I would most like to see is a structured tech program (there may be one and I simply didn't look in the right places).

Indeed. Chimaera told me they do not have structured tech deals simply because if one person screws up or delay, then the whole thing falls apart. They only do 1 to 1 tech deals at the moment, just get 5 or 6 sellers. :weird:

I spoke to Chim about this for a bit and talked about the advantages of this outweighing the possible problems. He had to go to sleep, but the discussion will continue later.

As luck would have it, Keve from UINE offered to fill my slots with long term $3mil/100 tech deals if I voted for their man for Blue Team Senate. Since he apparently didn't realize that Blue is by far the most politically unified color sphere and that the Team Senate has been secure and stable since 2007, I jumped at the opportunity. I then decided to pass on the winnings to one of you. My first inclination was to get Vince, since he has the lowest tech ratio in SSX. But he had deals with IAA, as did Jericho. So since Messiah asked, he's getting the UINE deals.

Messiah, please send 3 million to these guys:

Keve also said "to avoid confusion, please write 3/100 tech deal in the name of the aid. Also, they all have a good selling record and should be long term." So there you go.

It's Funny,

My little nation has never been so popular.

When I logged in a couple of days after you guys moved to IAA my inbox was already full of trade offers.

Then a couple of days later Chimaera sent me a list of 5 nations waiting for me to send money for tech deals.

So now I have, for the first time in many months, a full trade circle and 5 tech deals pending.

I can certainly understand why they don't have structured tech deals, when I was selling tech as part of the NV tech deals, I was always very popular as one of the few people that always completed tech deals on time. Once I switched to buying I had nothing but trouble.

At least they keep a list of buyers and sellers and have a place to resolve any disputes.

Zeph.
