So, how do I check fame, and how much do I need for the gobbie bag 1 quest?

I spent the gil and got the stuff for it, but the little bastard won't trigger the quest...

He will take Boyahda Moss, La Theine Cabbage and Millioncorn. Do not buy Millioncorn at the AH! It is a rip-off. You have to trade him 6 cabbages or 3 corn as opposed to only one moss (so weigh the economics, is one stack of moss more expensive than six stacks of cabbage=> yes, buy cabbage, => no buy moss).

I don't know who you check with in Jeuno to find out about you fame. They won't say "you're fame is 4", they will be all vauge and say things like "Nope, never heard of you!" you should do the above quest until they say that they recognize your name or until you can get the quest (3 stacks of the moss sould get you close)...

I just sold the stuff for the gobbie bag quest, I'll go back when I am more inclined to be frustrated by fame issues
