When logging into the game, some folks find that they are no longer in our kin. This can be quite unsettling if you experience it, and I have received several tells from peeps recently who have been hit by the bug. It's only on the client side, so the rest of the kin sees that you have logged into the game. To fix the issue, simply relog your character.
I personally will not remove anyone from the kin without a public notice in our forums.
